MISSION & VISION

First City Pride Center is an inclusive advocacy, social, and service organization actively working to meet the needs for safety, empowerment, education, and wellbeing of Greater Savannah’s LGBTQIA+ community. We envision an inclusive community where every person has safety, acceptance, and equal rights under the law.

One of only two LGBTQIA+ centers in Georgia, First City Pride Center is a volunteer-driven registered 501(c)(3) not for profit organization serving the greater Savannah LGBTQIA+ community and 12+ surrounding Georgia counties.

FCPC HISTORY

In 2017, the Savannah LGBT Center first opened its doors to welcome the community, bringing together a collection of service providers under one roof and providing a home LGBTQIA+ Savannahians had long struggled to find.

Over the next 3 years, separate queer organizations developed a relationship that would eventually unite them as one.

Beginning in 2020, with the help of First City Network, the Savannah LGBT Center became the First City Pride Center and unified Savannah Pride, Jeffrey’s Place, and the Center into one cohesive organization that would better live up to its mission of service to the community.
